Esta banda nace a principios del 96 en Portland, E.U. tocando un doom metal atmosferico con tintes de black metal, y seguiran su camino puliendo mas su sonido a lo que ahora conocemos, con sus temas largos, densos y con esa guitarra acustica que te envuelve en una atmosfera que te llena la mente de sensaciones diferentes minuto a minuto transportandote a paisajes vastos de pinos y montañas donde solo se encuentra tu alama, el frio y la tranquilidad que a su vez es arrebatada de ti con un grito desgarrador y desesperante que te transmite angustia y soledad con cada rifft de su musica. En lo particular yo la escucho cuando llueve, medito, camino, o cuando viajo, no cabe duda que esta banda de "culto" es de las mejores dentro de su genero (lo cual es dificil exclarecer) pero que no es impedimento para degustar tus oidos con ella. He agregado ademas 3 Bootlegs muy buenos para los mas amantes de la banda, como tmb su mas reciente material el "The best of.." The Demonstration Archive, que no es mas ni menos una recopilacion de sus eps anteriores, y el A Quiet Disenchantment, otro "best of..." que contiene 2 canciones casi imposibles de encontrar donde Agalloch hace aparicion en otros compilados, pero no es oficial. Pronto sacaran un dvd (eso espero) a y les dejo un video al final. Pues ya les llego santa por adelantado hohoho, a descargar porque no hay "Resubicion" XD. A otro dato, el nombre Agalloch es atribuido a la madera resinosa de dicho nombre la cual se emplea para hacer escencias e incienso (el cual amo). Asi que el dia que yo me muera, me gustaria que me pusieran una cancion (cualquiera) de este grupo, ya que su musica es un verdadero placer para morir. Salu2
