Dark Tranquillity es una banda de Death Metal melódico de Suecia, más exactamente conocido como Gothenburg Metal, subestilo del Death Metal que se caracteriza por su mayor contenido melodico en sus lineas de guitarra, así como en la introducción de teclados.
Poseen una extensa carrera desde 1989 hasta nuestros días donde han sido nominados a diversos premios, entre ellos el grammy por su álbum "Projector". Están íntimamente ligados a la historia de otro grande del death: In Flamesya que unos de los miembros de Dark Tranquillity escribió las letras de 2 álbumes de In Flames, "Whoracle" y "The Jester Race".
Bueno enfin esta es una de las bandas que mas me gustan, y como no he visto nada de ellos por aqui pues aqui les traigo un gran material para q lo disfruten.
